Project Overview
The Strand is a modern waterfront mixed-used condo community nestled in the heart of Winnipeg’s cultural community between the Red River and the Exchange District. Designed to be durable and energy efficient by LEED® accredited professionals, The Strand has many green features. Innotech windows and doors are available with either double or triple glazing.
Beautiful Windows
The Strand features a triple pane warm edge glass package with argon gas fill and two high performance low-E coatings. Manitoba Hydro estimates that The Strand saves over $4,400 CDN every year as a direct result of the energy efficient triple glazed Innotech windows.
“I envisioned beautiful, large windows to create interiors flooded in natural light and to maximize the views of our beautiful city,” says Rudy Friesen, lead architect and developer for The Strand. “But I also wanted operable windows that could withstand Manitoba’s very cold winters and dry summers. After meeting the Innotech team, there was no question that their tilt and turn product had both the energy and durability performance features we required.”
